Jessi Rubin (Yepeth Perla) is a restoration ecologist, naturalist, earth-tender, mentor, wilderness guide, environmental scientist, seasoned educator, permaculture practitioner, herbalist, & Kohenet with 2 Masters: in Environmental Studies from Antioch NE and Plant Soil Science from UVM. She has 24 years of Torah journeying, ethical rewilding, and wilderness guiding experience in various bioregions, ecosystems, and communities. She walks a deeply rooted Jewish path which bridges the spectrum from Chassidic to Renewal. She helped co-found Living Tree Alliance, a Jewish intentional community in Vermont. She founded and nurtures an ecological resilience service called MycoEvolve which is a DBA of Roots and Trails which she has been offering for the past 13 years. She is dedicated to holistic mentoring, socio-ecological rehabilitation, wildlife conservation, decolonization, cultural revolution, ancestral revitilization, community collaboration, joy cultivation, compassion nurturing, and planetary healing.
